Sir Robin of the Wood™

Sir Robin of the Wood™, was designed as a training tool for teaching "stylized" character design and development. Through project lessons and video tutorials I demonstrate my character development workflow from conceptualing the character silhouettes and expressions through the many varied stages of base mesh modeling, digital sculpting and polypaint/texturing methods and techniques. Finally, I show how all that detailed high fidelity information is extracted, retopolgized and replaced onto an optimized game asset mesh ready for rigging and animation.

3D World Magazine (issue 171) features a nice selection of tutorial training I created exclusively for their current August 2013 issue, complete with 50+ minutes of video tips, tricks and techniques called, "STYLIZED CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT"
